Throne Predictions

The 8th and final season of the Game of Thrones is over. The top the participants have received their rewards as promised. During the season we used Mail Chimp to keep everyone notified about the progress.
This short and quick journey has been great!

The forms have officially closed after 1 month and 4 days. We were able to get 3,000 users to submit their predictions and over 2,000 of them to verify their account. In that period we had a little over 7,600 unique visitors.

19 days into the project Launch and we already have over 2,250 users who submitted their predictions while there were around 5,5k unique visitors that came to the page.

15 days into the project Launch and we already have over 1,750 users who submitted their predictions while there were around 4k unique visitors that came to the page.

11 days into the project launch and we already have 850 users who submitted their predictions while there were around 2k unique visitors that came to the page.

We started to market the platform for free on FB groups and Reddit. Also, we hoped for mouth-to-mouth advertising to spread. I created a really low budget, 40-sec video to present the platform. We soon found out that the best way to increase the number of users the fastest was through influencer marketing.

We launched on the 11th of March.

The first version was available 1 week after the start of coding. We shared it with our friends & family to test it out.

I called my friend to ask if he is up for it. he was. We made the plans and started coding.

Flying from the UK to Slovenia I had an idea to make all the predictions for the much awaited final season of Game of Thrones, online and share it with the world.
