After posting in several different sub Reddits and Facebook groups we were quick to get some really useful feedback.
We managed to get 20 pre-orders organically in a short period of time with a lot of others subscribing.
After listening to the feedback and researching a little bit more we pivoted slightly to an email newsletter.
Before we went any further we decided to test our idea.
A scrappy landing page was built on weblfow explaining exactly what we anticipated we could offer. We charged $49 to pre-order lifetime access.
Our initial idea was a platform that shows you the most trending stock on the internet.
We posted in reddit and facebook groups to try and gain some feedback and traction.
@TheSamuelRenotte keeps finding awesome stock and sending me a bunch of information that overwhelms me. I have massive FOMO. Not only this, I'm busy with other things and I don't have the time to read every article, thread, link and document I'm being sent.
After chatting with him that I can't keep up and it's starting to annoy me I thought maybe investing isn't for me...i'm too busy.
