Fired my 10th bad employee. Good help is...

Fired two people yesterday for being scammy. Geezzz seriously I honestly cant give a person 2 inches. First employee was sharing the codebase and paying another developer to work on it. 2nd person was not pushing commits timely and lied about there experience and technical abilities. What I've learned is that if you dont take the time to find the right employees your business will fail. If you find yourself second guessing someone you've hired- cut them from the team quick. Without such an array of bad employees...I would have never realized how important it is to hire the right people. Good help is hard to find. Were did you find your last employee?

I can understand how you feel. I have hired people before and indeed, it can make or break your team. Unfortunatly it is not so easy to determine who is right for your team during job interviews alone (let alone for remote hires). Always use a probation time or short time contracts at the beginning and let them go if it doesn't feel 100%. Good luck.
