Tiny Improvements
A newsletter about designing & building great products
300! Now we're talking. Growth has been steady the past few months, and it's super encouraging to see my readership grow. Along with that I've had some wonderful feedback from readers - both constructive and outright positive. I've got a good weekly cadence going, and I have yet to run out of things to say.

I got laid off from my job doing DevRel @ Stripe. I put out a tweet about it the same day I was fired, and it went bananas. This drove a big boost in subscribers for me. In the next 2 weeks, I went from 141-212 subscribers.

0 Subscribers, and issue #1 - at this point, I was just experimenting with writing this sort of thing. I had no indication from anyone that this is something there was interest for, or that I should even start writing... but I did.

At 50 subscribers, everything started to feel real - I was starting to see subscriptions from people who I definitely did not know. They found my site and newsletter from Google, twitter, reddit or some other external source. Validation, a great feeling!

After a few intermittent issues, I started writing my newsletter on a (mostly) weekly cadence in the summer of 2022. Funny enough, once I started writing regularly, people started subscribing regularly. Who would have thought?
100 subscribers felt amazing - my 100th subscriber sent me the following message:
"Excited to be #100 - this will feel like a drop in the bucket to you before long!"
