Hi Joe,
It was to do with the more dynamic possibilities using NextJS or just React, even.
On Django, I have been struggling to have interaction on a page without doing a full post request and then refreshing the page.
There are possibilities of course, like HTMX or using jQuery to do async requests and replace the HTML.
But at that point, I am already needing to use more than just pure HTML+Django templates, so might as well switch to something React-based like NextJS.
Maybe I have not done enough research on how to do that on Django, if you have any pointers, I am up to trying new things...

How was your experience with NextJs + Supabase authentication?
I recently implemented email based authentication, and experience was smooth.
Did you run into any gotchas?

Also smooth experience.
Just needed to configure the GitHub ClientID and Client Secret in the Supabase project settings and that was it.
Just call the signing method with provider 'github' and all works correctly.
