Privacy-First, No-KYC Cloud & Dedicated Servers Powered by C
Hey Indie Hackers,
I’ve been a Linux SysAdmin for years, and lately, I’ve been noticing a frustrating trend in the cloud hosting world.
If you want to spin up a basic $5 or $10 instance on major public clouds to test an open-source tool, host a hobby project, or run a fast script, you are immediately hit with a wall. Invasive KYC checks, requests for national IDs, automatic account suspensions by overzealous AI bots, and strict credit card mandates.
It feels like developer privacy and friction-free deployment are being completely phased out by corporate infrastructure giants.
That’s exactly why I decided to boot-strap TLFHost.
My goal is simple: to bridge the gap between enterprise-grade infrastructure (leveraging powerful networks like OVH and ColoCrossing) and absolute developer anonymity. We built a platform that allows you to deploy pre-configured environments instantly, with a strict No-KYC policy, and 100% native crypto checkouts (BTC, XMR, USDT).
I’m currently testing features on our virtual server setups and tailoring environments specifically for developers who value their privacy and want a localized, high-speed experience without corporate surveillance.
I wanted to ask this community: How much does strict KYC/identity verification on cloud platforms impact your choice of a hosting provider when launching a new MVP? Have you ever had an account falsely flagged or suspended by a big provider?
Would love to hear your experiences and thoughts!
Cheers,
Founder, TLFHost.com
