Todij Playlist Manager
Search, filter, and bulk-open YouTube videos from playlists,
Hey Indie Hackers,
I recently launched my first serious Chrome extension: Todij Playlist Manager.
The idea came from a problem I had myself.
I save a lot of YouTube videos: coding tutorials, AI tools, business content, courses, music, research videos, and random “watch later” content.
But after a while, my playlists became almost useless.
Saving videos was easy.
Finding them again later was painful.
I would remember the topic, but not the exact title.
Sometimes I remembered the channel, but not the playlist.
Sometimes I just wanted to search across multiple playlists instead of opening each one manually.
So I built Todij Playlist Manager.
It helps YouTube-heavy users search, filter, sort, and manage playlists more seriously.
Main features:
✅ Search across multiple YouTube playlists
✅ Keyword search + Regex search
✅ Filter by title, channel, upload date, duration, resolution, watched status, rating, etc.
✅ Sort large playlists faster
✅ Copy, move, clone, import, and export playlist items
✅ Useful for students, developers, researchers, teachers, creators, and anyone who saves too many videos
Right now, the extension is published on the Chrome Web Store, but it is stuck at around 39 installs.
So I’m trying to learn the distribution side, not just the building side.

I would really appreciate feedback from this community:

Also, for founders who launched Chrome extensions before:
What was the first channel that actually brought real users?
I’m happy to share what I learn while trying to grow it from 39 users to the first 100, then 1,000.
