Tools On Fire

Hey! I'm a developer from the UK based in Norway.

Over the past couple of years I've been building web products that solve problems. I currently have three live projects:

ToolsOnFire (toolsonfire.com) - 35+ free online productivity tools. I got fed up paying for subscriptions just to convert a video or remove a background from an image, so I built free alternatives. Built with Next.js and Firebase. Popular tools include a video to GIF converter, AI voice separator, video to MP3 converter, AI sticker creator, markdown converter, MP3 to video converter with waveform visualisers, and plenty more.

Most do not require sign-up.

Meeting Record N Transcribe (meetingrecordntranscribe.app) - Records and transcribes meetings with automatic speaker identification. Useful for anyone who needs accurate records of calls, interviews, or team stand-ups without manually taking notes.

TalkBuoy (talkbuoy.com) - AI-powered speech assistant for when you are giving a speech, in an interview or just need help making conversation. It also has a free text to speech tool for those who have difficulty speaking for whatever reason.

All three are solo projects - design, development, marketing, everything. Currently sitting at around 75-100 daily users and focused on growing organic traffic and improving monetisation.

Honestly, building the tools has been the easy part. Getting people to find them has been the real challenge. If anyone has tips on growing a tools site with low domain authority, I'm all ears.
