Tornado - Subscriptions
Your live subscription metrics dashboard
A dashboard built around your business.
Version 1.1 is a complete reimagining of how Tornado shows you your metrics. Instead of asking questions and reading answers, you now have a live dashboard — a collection of tiles you build yourself, showing exactly what you care about, the way you want to see it.
---
Your Dashboard, Your Rules
Every tile is yours to configure. Pick a service, choose a metric, and decide how to display it. Stack as many tiles as you need. Reorder them. Remove them. Come back tomorrow and everything is still there, updated and ready.
No defaults you didn't ask for. No noise. Just the numbers that drive your decisions.
---
Three Ways to See Any Metric
Current Total — The latest number, front and center. MRR, active subscribers, churn rate, LTV — whatever matters most right now.
Service Breakdown — When you're running Stripe and Paddle side by side, see exactly how each one contributes to the whole. Rendered as a pie chart so the split is immediately obvious.
Trend Over Time — A line or bar chart that builds as you use the app. Tornado stores a local history of your metrics, so the longer you use it, the richer your trend data becomes.
---
What's in Tornado Pro
- Multi-service tiles — aggregate and compare across services on a single tile
- Trend charts and breakdown (pie) charts
- Multi-filter — select more than one service in the filter bar at once
- Export to PNG, CSV, and PDF
- Home screen widgets with background refresh
- Anomaly alerts when metrics move significantly
---
Your Data Stays Yours
API keys are stored in the iOS Keychain and never leave your device. Tornado is read-only — it never touches your billing accounts. Trend data lives locally, no cloud sync required.

As a developer and aspiring entrepreneur, juggling multiple tasks while gathering analytics at the same time is a must. I'm always looking for products that help me manage that better so I can make faster, more decisive, and accurate business decisions.
But getting access to those analytics has been clunky. Subscriptions and purchases are spread across different apps and storefronts — multiple logins, multiple dashboards, multiple data sets from various sites that I have to gather, decipher, and analyze before I can decide anything. My time could be spent building, not searching.
So I started building Tornado — a chat interface on iOS (Android coming) where you connect your accounts and ask in plain English:
- "What's my MRR?"
- "Show me churn over the last 6 months"
- "How many new subscribers this week?"
One question, one answer. No logging into multiple sites, no spreadsheet.
Stripe, Lemon Squeezy, and Paddle are supported right now, and I'm looking for feedback from the people who actually use them daily — how well does Tornado work for you, and what would you need us to add?
Tornado is most useful if you have subscribers through those three platforms: SaaS products, memberships, side projects — anything sold on the web. People who have the same problem I had: seeing all your subscription analytics fast so you can make decisions fast.
My own business relies on Apple App Store and Google Play data, so those two are the next platforms we're actively building — not someday features, next-up ones. If that's your world too, I want to hear from you early so we build it right.
Tornado just passed App Store review and we're targeting a public launch later in April 2026. We're pre-revenue.
We're looking for 10–15 movers and shakers who have business accounts on Stripe, Paddle, or Lemon Squeezy and would try a TestFlight build and share honest feedback — what hits, what doesn't, what needs polish. We want to make sure it works for real users before we ship.
Connect a read-only API key, ask a question, and hit me with the good, the bad, and the ugly. In exchange we'll give you 6 months of Pro free.
Drop a comment if that's you.
