Toy Faces Library
A fun diverse library of 3D avatars for your design mockups.
On 1st September, I will be expanding Toy Faces Library 2X and offer more faces and fun little things.
The custom Toy Faces Orders were on pause due to the high volume of orders and I will be re-opening that as well. Plus a new design blog to get the community more involved.
Toy Face Library became a huge hit, the design and tech community really showed their love and support. I ended up with 2000 paying customers and got commissioned by Google, Seatle Sea-Hawks, Ola, and many others. It even got featured by Forbes, Wacom, Muzli, Behance, and many more.
Unaware of this community at the time I launched my product on ProductHunt. It reached #4 Product of the day with 1200 Upvotes.
The response was beyond anything I expected. There were tweets by designers and companies I adore. The Avatar Library and Custom Toy Face both were a huge success.
PH has been the biggest booster for Toy Faces Library, I have launched several products on the platform. Some have done well and some were a bit disappointing. There are particular products that thrive on the platform so I encourage everyone to analyze and see if their product can be on the platform by doing some competitive analysis.

The starting challenge was to come up with a design system and pipeline where I can create 100s of 3D faces. I took the concept from avatar generators and made a pipeline around it.
I created this while in quarantine. There were days where I doubted the point of making design assets while the world is dealing with so much tragedy. Then one day I came across this article of a group of anime lovers living in the beautiful yet very troubled region of Kashmir. They mashed up Miyazaki's art with beautiful raw imagery of Kashmir and looking at that my doubts disappeared.
Another challenge was to research and understand what types of products I should sell and defining my exact target market or niche.
And the biggest challenge was to understand how to market the product and increase my presence online. Luckily, the consistency paid off, and being in quarantine really helped me focus on this.

I am Amrit Pal Singh, a 3D Illustrator and Creative Director with an immense love for storytelling, nomadic adventures, and Nutella.
In 2019, I left my job as Head of Design for a fintech company and started focusing on creating 3D Design Assets and Card Games full-time. I mostly work solo with regular collaborators. Toy Faces Library is the first big step towards my mission to offer designers and companies design tools and assets that make their work pop and promote diversity.

This bundle of 3D avatars is to help add a little more fun and diversity to your designs. Design needs better representation and diversity, this is just a small step from my side to offer more of it.

Looking for body wave wig? It is very suitable for dressing up any party, wedding, prom or special occasion, such as body wave lace, front wigs, etc. Body wave lace front wig, https://www.tinashehair.com/product-category/wigs/short-wig/
Congrats Amrit on your success. Why not experimenting with a higher price ? it would be interesting to see how much it would impact your sales.
From the product hunt feedbacks, I also wonder if most of the buyers are Indians. Was that intentional to appeal to Indians ?
