Trader Maths
Maths tests for stock market traders
Worked together with 2 developers to add sockets to the Tradermaths maths tests. This allows for users to share a Maths test and play against a friend! Additionally after realizing that extreme maths test were not being done by users I have removed them and additionally added 'mini' tests so individuals can do short tests.
Finally launched the revamped Tradermaths.com after a year working part-time on the changes. Implemented the following:
- Linkedin/Google Login.
- Leaderboard for Mental maths.
- Track mental maths results.
- Trading firms job database.
This gives users many more resources to learn about Trading/Market making.
For the development I mostly did it myself but also hired a freelancer through Upwork to help with the Vue front end development while I worked on the backend.
There has been no additional functionality to Tradermaths for over 1 1/2 years and so I thought It was time to give it a revamp and I decided to change the stack completely to a MEVN stack.
The new features include:
- Linkedin/Google Login
- Leaderboard
- Track mental maths results
- Trading firms database.
I am also moving the deployment to AWS as I passed the AWS Cloud practitioner exam and enrolled in the Developer exam.

About
Many market makers still require mental maths tests during the recruitment process. Tradermaths provides these practice questions in the same format.
