While testing out a data access product that we developed as an additional offering for our political campaign consulting clients, we discovered that our clients (customers) were particularly interested in an interactive "dashboard" based product to assist them in using the data we had aggregated for them.

That idea data aggregator became Trailmapper, the product we are developing today. And shortly after designing Trailmapper, we were fortunate enough to have the opportunity to pitch the newly formed DC-based political-tech startup accelerator program, the Startup Caucus, as part of their inaugural cohort of 6 portfolio companies.
