One of the biggest things I struggle with when I'm brainstorming new products is that my brain goes wild with ideas.

They all spill out into my Notion page and then very quickly the product becomes this big and complicated thing.

That makes building it and knowing where to get started quite daunting.

I've found what really helps is to jot all those ideas down, and decide which are the most valuable.

Then put them into some sort of a roadmap.

For this product, I wanted the community to decide what they want first, so I added them (with the same upvote/downvote mechanism) to the Roadmap page -> https://20traveltips.com/roadmap

The world is finally opening up for a travel again.

I was recently fortunate enough to go on my first real holiday in a while. We visited Greece. It was my first time there.

We stayed on a few smaller islands (not the big touristy ones) and there was a repeated pattern that occurred: The best things we did were recommendations from local people that lived on the islands, or visited frequently.

And often, it was just us there... which is probably why they were so great.

I figured it would be fun to make a platform that used the upvote/downvote mechanism of IH and Reddit to crowdsource travel tips for different destinations around the world and hopefully....

... inspire more genuine travel experiences for everyone.
