Stay up to date the latest web dev projects on GitHub
After just over a year of sending the Trending Projects newsletter I have reached 1000 active subscribers (1055 total including unsubscribes). I am very happy to reach this stage and feels like a big milestone.
In celebration of this I have also launched my website www.stargazing.dev that acts as a companion to the newsletter.
Here's to the next 1000!
Today the www.trendingprojects.com newsletter hit 200 subscribers.
The first issue was sent on the 24th of July and the latest issue (#3) was sent on Friday. Next week will see some new additions including the launch of the new website and the publication of my first developer interview.
Tens days after the first subscriber www.trendingprojects.com now has over 100 subscribers. The rate of subscription has been much higher than I expected so I am very pleased. The first email was sent out yesterday and is showing a current open rate of 54.8%.

After writing a popular blog series on trending projects for web developers titled "🚀10 Trending projects on GitHub for web developers" I came up with the idea for Trending Projects to deliver this content as a weekly newsletter so users don't miss any of the blog posts.

After launching the landing page yesterday I got my first subscriber today. I have been running a weekly article on dev.to for a months so I added a link to the signup page on each of my articles and received my first subscriber within a few hours.
