EMI Directory
Business banking catalogue
After months of working on the admin dashboard and the main website I'm finally done and ready to publish. The website only includes a list of fintechs licensed in the United Kingdom, however in the future I'm going to add more countries.
Next step is adding 5 more institutions and improving the search presence of the website.
It may take months to find the right banking for an online business. Especially things get worse when the entrepreneurs live outside the UK and EU, placing them outside the risk appetite of most fintech companies.
As an entrepreneur residing outside EU, I'm always looking for new banking options as a plan B in case something happens to my main account. The knowledge I'm collecting may also be helpful to other people, so I created a website to share it. The website will display a list of fintech companies providing banking services with search criteria.
If you are an entrepreneur and, at some point, you experienced difficulties finding a business account for your marketplace, consulting agency, or another type of business, I'd love to hear your thoughts and suggestions on how to make your website even more helpful for you.
Send me a personal message or post in the comments to share your experience of finding an account for your business!

Congratulations @digitalcortex ! I'm curious: why did it take months of working on your dashboard and website? What was the technical hurdle?
Thank you!
The website took around one month to build, and the admin dashboard took 1.5+ months. The admin part was the most significant time consumer because I had to implement an editor of institution profiles. It includes eight sections of data with an abundance of fields interconnected with each other such as currency tables, payment networks, etc.
The choice of the framework also turned out to increase the dev time. I picked Nuxt 3 for the frontend and their docs are not complete yet. I spent significant time researching how to implement custom components. But in the end, it was such as pleasant experience; I don't regret learning Nuxt 3 haha.
Ah I understand. Doing and learning at the same time is the best. It expands your capabilities and keeps you motivated :-)
I wish you the best on your launch!
I appreciate your kind words Nuro!
