How did it happen? Honestly, I don't know! But it was pretty gratifying. 233 Engagements made for an engagement rate of 4.3%. That seems pretty good to me. But Twitter is so clever. They give you these little tidbits of information (likes, retweets, clicks, etc.), but no ultimate reason why.

Why did this Tweet blow up when others have failed?

Twitter has now officially restricted my "follow" privileges three times, even though I'm starting to get some real traction. It's almost as if they're doing it in order to sell their $99/mo "Promote Mode." I've run into no such problems with Instagram so far, but I'm trying to get pretty aggressive organic growth using both apps.

Man, that took a lot of work! One thing I realized along the way is that original content is not necessarily the primary thing you need. Sometimes, making just the right comment on a post by someone with a ton of followers is even better than posting something original. Who'd have thought, right?

You know, I've never been a real social media user. Sure, I have an account on each of the major platforms, but I've never been an active user. But now that I really have to get out there and connect with people, I'm actually having a lot of fun!

I do think, however, Reddit is my favorite network so far, with Twitter second. Please prove me wrong, but Facebook just isn't doing anything for me anymore.

It only took about three weeks because I used the awesome no-code builder Webflow! But as of today, www.trumpnotes.app is live and ready to accept orders.

I've set up all the normal social media channels, but I'm totally new to marketing. So my next task is to figure out how to get organic growth on a shoestring budget. The only advertising I'm willing to pay for is on reddit, 'cause, well, I love reddit.

So, I'm neither an engineer nor a graphic designed. So I've had to do a lot of faking it with building the app as well as doing the graphic design of the product I'm selling.

But I've finished the first 6 cards on the site, and once it is live, they'll be ready for printing and mailing.
