March 15, 2022 Added Twitter public profile - threads

Recently I added a public profile feature on https://tweelog.app which takes Twitter to handle and shows their recent threads and tweets grouped by topics.

For me, it is always hard to figure out the Twitter threads from a handle. I just have to keep scrolling to find out the threads. This process is time-consuming.

If there is a way for your followers to quickly visit your tweets, threads, and topics you have been tweeting, would be an amazing feature.

It is not just showing the threads, but showing in a form that resembles a blog post would be even better. That is the exact thing I have implemented. For example, https://tweelog.app/parik36 would actually show a 360-degree view of what Parik has been saying on Twitter.

You can also try it out now! Just visit Tweelog, enter any Twitter handle, and hit enter!

March 8, 2022 Completed 100 signups with interesting features!

Happy that my saas got 100 signups successfully! Need to celebrate small wins.

Have been adding a few interesting features. Following are few

  1. Analyze any public Twitter handle
  2. Show graph that shows top 3/5/8 topics sorted by popularity/tweets/likes/replies/retweets aggregated by the number of tweets/likes/replies/retweets against tweeted date (uff! need to make it more intuitive)
  3. Showing list of threads
  4. Showing media on tweets
  5. Write stories from public profiles too

The above features will be very useful to quickly read about the tweets from a popular Twitter personality or media/journal accounts. For example https://tweelog.app/#/me/ajenglish or https://tweelog.app/#/me/dthompsondev

Just try it out and need to polish so many things. Happy to hear from IHs :)

Congrats on 100 signups. This looks really cool and I hope you keep working on it! I feel you have a good product and if you can nail monetisation it could really go places.

Thank you so much. I am working on it. Planning few more features to cater the reader/writer/creators communities. Hope I find out the spot to monetise it as you said :)

March 4, 2022 Posted on ProductHunt!

What else beats ProductHunt in compiling best tech products! It is a milestone to be listed on ProductHunt.

In terms of the product, added multiple features like publishing directly to Medium, optimizing the grouping algorithm, story listing, mobile friendliness and fixed few bugs.

Will be focusing on distribution of the product for next months

February 19, 2022 Launch

I started being active on twitter recently. I started tweeting all that comes to my mind at that point of time. I started liking twitter because

It is short. To the point content
Floating content. Always see fresh content
Really good community

On the other hand I write tech articles on Medium. Whenever I start writing something, I used to filter my tweets related to the topic I am writing and keep them on my screen next to my editor so that I can elaborate each tweet.

I quickly searched if there is any tool which helps me to do this

Take my tweets and group them into topics
Show me a text editor next to my tweets so that I can elaborate the tweets to create a blog post

I did not find any platform for the same. There it starts, a tool to create other forms of content from twitter tweets. I quickly wrote some dirty python scripts using twitter APIs. I identified that grouping tweets into topics and showing metrics on top of topic itself is a good feature. I quickly generated few reports and sent it out to few people on twitter in my circle for feedback. Most of them liked it.

I decided to give it a shot and build a tool for the problem I faced. Finally, it is here for everyone to use it. Very basic for now, still long way to go! If you are an active twitter user and want to create other forms of content from your tweets, you should absolutely check it out. https://tweelog.app https://twitter.com/@tweelogHQ

Happy to hear your feedback IH community :) Cheers!

Can we turn tweets into blog posts and rank them?

    1. 1

Currently I have not implemented anything like ranks on the stories that you write on tweelog. Happy to know more about "ranking" on stories. If that makes sense happy to think about adding it :)
