Twitter Viewer

I built Twitter Viewer because I kept running into the same small but annoying problem: someone would send me a public X/Twitter link, and I wanted to read the tweet, profile, replies, or media without getting pulled into a feed or being forced through a login wall.

The goal is intentionally narrow: paste a public tweet or profile URL, get a cleaner view, and move on. I also added media viewing, bookmarks, and Twitter video downloading because those are the next things people usually need once they can see the public content.

A few product decisions I made:

- No account required for the viewer

- Keep the interface focused on the content, not recommendations

- Support profiles, tweets, replies, and media in one place

- Treat privacy as a default instead of a setting

It is not trying to replace social networking. It is closer to a working Nitter alternative for people who need to inspect public Twitter/X content quickly.

The tool is here: https://twitterviewer.net

I would be interested in feedback from anyone who regularly researches public social posts, tracks product mentions, or just wants a quieter way to open X links.
