For five months, I thought that the itch I scratched was only mine. It turns out it wasn't! For the first time in my whole life, I just sold a product made entirely by myself. It may look like one inch of trade, but it brought me miles of satisfaction.

After two months of coding, the first version of the product is launched. Then I needed to define it. Since Typenik delivers everything a traditional dictionary does and goes further, I decided to call it an English Augmented Dictionary.

An English Augmented Dictionary does things that a traditional English Dictionary doesn't:

• It supports a full/partial phrase as a search term.
• It clears up the real meaning behind expressions.
• It conjugates verbs.

At the beginning of 2020, I wrote a cover letter to compete for a position at Basecamp. Along with my text, I wanted to use a metaphor. After all, Basecamp is the "cradle" of Rails. But how to be sure that "cradle of" would express in English the same meaning this metaphor has in Portuguese?

I searched for references to that term - cradle of - on popular publications like The New York Times, The New Yorker, and The Guardian. The idea was to clear my doubts by reading the context in which the reference was applied on. Bingo!

But there was still an issue. Searching for terms on two, three or four publications manually is tedious and time-consuming. So would there be a way of automating this job?
