Skip 60+ hours of React Native setup. Ship your app in days
I’ve been writing code since 2010. I started as a backend dev, grew into full stack, and ended up as a Framework Architect. Then, out of nowhere, burnout hit. I pushed through it for 2 more years until March 2024, when I realized I was just done.
A friend in the fitness industry needed help, so I quit my job to give freelancing a shot. It went well. Then another friend needed a full product launched in 3 months. I did it, but I realized I was still drowning in work—first corporate, then freelancing.
For years, I’ve wanted to build my own products. It might go wrong or it might go well, but I need to experience it!
Last week, I finally launched my first product: Typevera.
It’s not the product I dreamed of building, but it’s the foundation for all the next ones. I already have 2 other products in progress with friends who don’t write code. I actually paused those to finish Typevera v1 first, because every project I start from now on will begin with this instead of weeks of boilerplate setup.
What is Typevera?
It’s a React Native + Expo starter kit extracted from those real production apps I built. It saves me 60+ hours of "boring" setup (Auth, OTP, Mocks, i18n) so I can focus on the actual product.
I launched last week and got 0 sales. The feedback? "It looks too generic/AI-coded." I took it seriously and just rebuilt the entire landing page, with real video showcases and a Terminal Hero.
Now Typevera is out. Time to get back to building. I’ll keep evolving it with every bit of feedback I get.
About
It exists because I was drowning in boilerplate. I extracted the battle-tested architecture from my production apps so that I, and other builders, never have to spend 60+ hours on 'the boring stuff' again.
