Ucoder Insight
Privacy-first, cookie-free web analytics SDK for developers
Hey Indie Hackers!
I'm Soumyadip, a B.Tech student from India.
I built Ucoder Insight — a lightweight,
cookie-free web analytics SDK.
Why I built it:
- Google Analytics = 45kb, privacy issues
- Plausible = $9/month, too expensive
- I wanted something free and lightweight
What makes it different:
✅ 7.4kb gzipped (zero dependencies)
✅ No cookies, GDPR friendly
✅ Works offline (IndexDB cache)
✅ Core Web Vitals tracking
✅ One line setup
npm install ucoder-insight
Live dashboard: insights.ucoder.in
npm: npmjs.com/package/ucoder-insight
Would love honest feedback from developers!
What's missing? What would make you use this
over Plausible or Fathom?
About
I was frustrated with Google Analytics being heavy and privacy-invasive. Plausible was too expensive for indie developers. So I built a lightweight, cookie-free analytics SDK with offline support.
