UIdeck
Landing Pages, Bootstrap Themes and UI Kits to make your web
Redesigned 5yrs old UIdeck website⚡New design is already live here: https://uideck.com and I would like to call it UIdeck 2.0 since we changed a lot of things with the design such as pricing and so on.

Please, check out and let me know your thoughts & feedback on the new site 🙌
May was a great month for UIdeck , we crossed $1500 revenue for the first time. Even though I was busy with LineIcons 2.0 release and was not able to release templates on time or send newsletters.
UIdeck's MRR was always stuck in between - 800/900/1000 USD

How UIdeck get there
I was observing what are the reasons behind this sudden spike. So, I figured out (wild guess) a few points ...
1. Google Algorithm Changes: Google unveiled its core search algo update at the beginning of May, even though it has decreased the search traffic but, traffic was very much relevant. Means less but, quality traffic.
2. More focus on All-Access Pass: We started encouraging users/visitors to buy all-access pass instead of single templates and trying to influence them in the best possible way. As All-access pass price is $49/$99 it's better to get one all-access pass sell than 5 individual templates. I saw a good number of users who bought single templates earlier buying the all-access pass recently.
3. Creating Diverse Templates: Yes, it helped a lot. We are creating landing page templates for all types of businesses/niches instead of only focusing on startup, SaaS, and apps landing pages. Diverse products helped us to reach a diverse audience, this is what I realized lately.
4. Brand Visibility: Instead of only creating templates we also started creating resource and tutorial contents. So, users who have no interest to buy/download templates but, want to learn about landing page or web design related stuff will know us and consider checking out our templates in the future.

Congratulations! $1.5k MRR is definitely a livable wage in many parts of the world.
Which means that you now have optionality to go full-time.
You'll hit $5k MRR in no time, buddy. All the best.

Honestly i've seen the website of UI deck since last 1 year ago.
I see now is 1.5k usd a month! this is amazing, but what i can see in time to come is 3x - 5x the profit.I would love to see more designs templates + tutorial + intergrations.
Example: UI Deck Templates (Boostrapped) + tutorial video on how to setup + (payment gateway, e-commerce) this 2 mainly i use.-

Wow, seems like we really reached you earlier. Thanks for your appreciation and support. Yeah, it's super hard to grow exponentially for such projects but, nothing is impossible. Nice suggestions with scenario, it will literally solve a big problem. I will focus more on integrations from now on and try to create tutorials based on use cases. Thanks @fajarsiddiq ♥️🙏

Congratulations!
I am a bit confused by the pricing, you said $1.5K MRR, but from your site I see that the licenses sold are one-time, not recurrent. Am I missing anything?
-
1
Good point, it's mixed. Please also check All access pass which is indirectly recurring and most of our revenue comes from this source.

I've used it, it's worth it. I've seen templates everywhere online. Is hard for me to decide, some are costly and some are not clear. You made UIdeck possible, affordable for developers/designers. Complete with documentation and easy to use. Congratulations on the launch! Much love from Singapore 🇸🇬

What did you do to market the site?
-
1
No paid marketing! but, I think products itself. Our works got featured on many relevant and popular sites including - Envato Tuts, OnePageLove etc. :)

Are all the templates are made by you/your team, or are you also selling product prom other people? If so how did you go about acquiring this people?
-

All templates are made by me or my team members. We don't sell third-party items from UIdeck.
FYI, we have a different marketplace which is called GrayGrids, we allow third-party authors to sell their products from there, check this out: https://graygrids.com/
-

Yes I stumbled upon it when I was checking your profile out, how many unique third-party authors on GrayGrids, and did you do anything specific to acquire them?
-
1
In GrayGrids we have 200+ unique authors, we started in 2014 as one of my side project when there was very few platform like this. No, have not done anything (like paid marketing or cold emails) started with my own templates and kept an option to submit third-party products. Then you know ... :)

Many users were buying multiple products (commercial license), we started offering mega bundle in February as an experiment to make it cost effective for users to get more products with less price. In the last 5 months received an unexpected response from users about the bundle. Today, I have transformed bundle into All-Access Pass. So, users can get all product access for a fixed yearly price. Link: https://uideck.com/products/all-access/ It's kinda SaaS/Membership model for a freebie site :D

I was started UIdeck for time-pass by writing UI related articles, besides running GrayGrids. Started crafting products as there are very few sites providing free yet high-quality templates/UI Kits.

The new design looks light weight Musharaf. Great job. Using WordPress or any static generator?
Thanks danish for checking out, its WordPress. Can't afford to migrate for now :P
Hey,
This looks very nice and clean! Maybe, You can use custom dropdown on "Newest Items/ Best Selling" dropdown.
Thanks for checking out and for feedback, I will check and try to add them ASAP
