Content: Hi Indie Hackers! 👋
After years of leading engineering teams and building enterprise-scale systems, I realized that every new project starts with the same boring, time-consuming setup: folder structure, Auth, RBAC, and database wiring.
I decided to clean up my go-to production architecture and turn it into the Ultimate Go Hexagonal Boilerplate.
Why I chose Hexagonal Architecture & DDD:
Future-proof: Your business logic stays pure. You can swap databases or frameworks without touching the core code.
Scalable: Built with a "Modular Monolith" approach that can grow into microservices easily.
Security: Granular Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) and JWT are already baked in.
The Tech Stack:
Go 1.24 (Gin framework)
GORM with PostgreSQL
Docker ready for production
I'm launching this today for $49 to help fellow founders and devs save weeks of work and focus on building features that actually matter.
I'd love to hear your thoughts on the architecture or answer any questions about building scalable backends with Go!
