URLDN
Modern URL Shortener with Analytics, QR Codes & Branded Link
I launched urldn.com in 2024 as a simple free URL shortener with AdSense ads.
Made almost nothing. Almost shut it down.
Instead I asked myself: why do URL shorteners give you a click count and call it analytics?
So I rebuilt it from scratch.
What it is now:
A Link Intelligence Platform — short links + deep analytics + campaign attribution + a built-in AI data analyst.
You literally ask your link data questions in plain English and get answers from your real database. Zero hallucination.
"Which campaign drove the most clicks?" "What's my top traffic source?" "Which links are underperforming?"
Also ships with: → Browser extension (Chrome, Firefox, Edge) → QR code generator → Bio page builder → Campaign tracking → Custom domains
This week: 1,343 clicks · 5 countries · built solo from Morocco 🇲🇦

Would love brutal feedback from this community.

Building urldn.com alone for months. Got my first organic shoutout from a community today — no ads, no outreach.
Honest lessons:
1. Loneliness is real. No team means no one to celebrate small wins with
2. You move fast but you also break things with no one to catch them
3. Validation from strangers hits different when you built everything yourself
4. The market doesn't care how hard you worked — only whether it solves a problem
Small win today. Long road ahead.
What's the hardest part of building alone nobody talks about?

Hey IH
I'm Lahcen, founder of URLDN — a URL shortener built for marketers, founders, and growth teams who need more than just a short link.
Most URL shorteners give you a redirect. URLDN gives you a growth tool.
What makes it different:
Deep click analytics — geo, device, referrer, time
Custom domains — brand every link you share
UTM builder built-in — no more manual tagging
CSV migration — import from Bitly or Dub in seconds
Fast redirects, clean UI, no fluff
I built URLDN because I was tired of paying for tools that either lock analytics behind expensive tiers or look like they were designed in 2012.
Where we are:

Still early, building in public. Happy to answer anything.
About
URLDN exists because link sharing is still broken. We believe every link should be measurable, trackable, and beautiful. That’s why URLDN exists: to turn every link into a smart marketing asset instead of just a URL.
