Amazing milestone reached - 500 followers. UX Designers Club doesn't need any promotion and new followers able to find it within a Medium search more frequently. There are 5 curated by Medium stories in the UX designers club, one of them went viral.

100 Sign-Ups came directly from UX Designers Club on Medium. UX Designer Club started to think about more outside tools and brainstorm ideas for the business model outside of the Medium platform. Creating a business model with concrete milestones and an education model for the future.

Within just a month, UX designers Club doubled the number of followers. Designers started to contribute more articles. Some of the articles were re-published by design magazines. I started to think about starting email list. It's a checkpoint when I found a Substack.

After 2 months of launch, I got my first 100 followers. Some of them contributed articles. It's a checkpoint when I decided to network more and advertise my idea. UX designers Club started to grow organically, so there is no need to pay for the ads.

UX Designers Club email newsletter starts on Substack. This is the date of the first subscriber as well. Followers get immediately notified once a new article is published, which gives more traffic. Email letter is also a tool for feedback and survey.

I decided to start my side project on Medium. This platform has a high authority and more traffic comes to new writers in comparison to other platforms or self-hosted websites. I took the MWA course by Sinem Gunel, the 7th most successful Medium writer to understand a strategy on Medium. Once I finished it, I started to write and connect with other designers.

Being an active UX design practitioner, I found there are a lot of design courses. Unfortunately, most of them are outdated with time. Also, some courses created by people with no design experience. I decided to fix it and give a free place for designers who want to share their experience, write articles, connect with others, and network.
