A muse came down from the heavens and gave me a kiss - Think before you build.

So I have this idea of people trading UX tests for each other. I open up VS Code and start building. And I think to myself 'man... I'm really not good at coding.'

It's true.
I take a look at my 30-day goal: 'Have active users who LOVE the product.' With my coding skills, this just isn't happening. Even if I focus on the bare minimum. In 30 days, I will still be googling how to make Firebase work or whatever.

And then it came to me.
I can do it all in Slack!!!

I don't need to write any code at all. Everything runs in a connected Slack channel. People can record and submit tests right there. All I have to do is to coordinate. And instead of writing code, I can focus on finding users from day one.

What do we learn from this?
It pays to think before you build.

PS.
I've been using the daily manifest by visualize value for goal setting.
It's free. It's simple. It keeps you focused. I highly recommend it.
