I am currently spending $500 a week on Google Ads, and the conversions are looking good.
UXsniff was initially my pet project created in 2020. It was mainly used to track my own websites. Currently, more than 3,500 growth hackers are using UXsniff on their websites to improve what's working, fix what isn't, and test new ideas.
Currently, I am spending around $500 a week on Google Ads and getting approximately 42 to 47 new sign-ups per week.
About
Because users are strange. Actionably strange. So I created UXsniff, track websites’ UX and learn from real-world user behaviour.

Interesting - so are you generating a customer lifetime value of more than 500$ from your ads?
No, almost breaks even. Majority of users are using free plan.

Hey, have you thought of setting up an affiliate program?
not at this moment.
Thanks for sharing! I see on the case study you linked here and noticed you used heat maps before switching the 1-click sign up. What level of insight did the heat map give you and what made you think of the 1-clicks to replace the previous sign up?
Also on the marketing side, how long did it take you to optimise the Google Ads campaign? I know that can take some time to figure out keywords, bidding and schedules, etc which can be a steep learning curve for the bootstrapped!
Good question, there are different insights collected from heatmaps + recordings:
I am not sure that the 1-click sign-up will be working so well, it was just an initiative to try it out and it works.
For the Google ads, it's a long learning journey over the years. There are a few important learning points that worth to take note:
• Landing page is very important. Same audience could convert better or worst on different LP.
• Track conversions and conversion values, import them to Google ads and bid by maximize conversion value.
• Conversion values doesn't need to be precise. You can set the conversion values slightly lower than the actual value, but somehow differentiate the importance of different conversions. For example Sign-up = 2, Complete Setup = 5, Subscribe = 10.
• User experience is very important. You can't expect your churned users to tell you about their bad experience. You have to monitor and find it out yourself.
• Monitor your cost on top spending keywords break down by conversions.
• Make sure your ad creative strength = excellent
Amazing insight, thank you! Are you using any other initiatives beside Google Ads as well, like a newsletter / social channels?
I have tried many channels such as FB, twitter ads as well as PH ads, so far none of them works for me except Google Ads.
I have launched a $1000 campaign on PH and will upload the result compared with Google Ads when the campaign is ended.
Interesting. Have you explore AS option too?
Hi tzzyl, what's "AS" by the way?
Nice results. Do you manage campaigns by yourself?
Yup, it involves a lot of test, trial and error in order to get there. One of our growth hacks recently: https://uxsniff.com/blog/increased-sign-up-conversion-rates-by-1200-percent/
