I recently graduated, and I decided to go full-time with Youtube. I have a lot of plans for the future and I am super excited about what it will bring.
The month of June in numbers:
25.5k (+2.8k) Subscribers
192.5k Views
150.0k Watch time (hours)
$1137 Ad Revenue
$15.78 CPM (Revenue/1k monetized views)
$5.84 RPM (Revenue/1k views)
The growth has slowed for the last months as I was focusing on finishing the university. But now, I am in full power and excited about the future.

Yaaay, we crossed the 10k subs
11.3k (+3.6k) Subscribers
232k Views
244k Watch time (hours) That's twenty freaking eight years of watching time
$1540 Ad Revenue (+380% MoM)
$16.91 CPM (Revenue/1k monetized views)
$6.63 RPM (Revenue/1k views)
Youtube is pushing hard some of the videos that get insane watch time. People seem to find this content valuable.
Let's see what March will bring!

Here are the results from January for my small youtube channel, that is starting to grow slowly
7.64K (+3.1k) Subscribers
$404 Ad Revenue
$12.25 CPM (Revenue/1k monetized views)
$3.44 RPM (Revenue/1k views)
One of my videos started getting insane watch time (average 80 minutes, previously it was around 10 minutes) and because of this, youtube started promoting it to a wider audience.

Your livestreams are so perfect!
Do you write the code/apps before you do the livestream so you know exactly what to expect and what to do next?
Everything seems to be so perfect and well explained so I wonder how do you do this.
How much time do you put to prepare for a livestream (for example uber clone) ?I hope that february was even better than january 🚀
Your streams are awesome! Keep it up!-

Hey, thanks a lot for the kind words.
I do prepare for these live streams, but I do not build everything the way it turns out. I just make a plan, which ends up being the keynote presentation during the video, and I do beforehand the things that I am not 100% sure how to do.
For each live stream, I prepare around 5-8 hours
Thanks for reminding me to post the stats for February, they are indeed way better

Hey there,
Here are the results from December for my small youtube channel
+2.1k Subscribers
$193 Ad Revenue
$12 CPM (Revenue/1k monetized views)
$3.37 RPM (Revenue/1k views)
During this month I continued doing what works best for my channel: long format live stream of project based learning. I clone popular mobile apps (IG, Whatsapp, Twitter, etc.) in react native and AWS amplify

If you are interested in how much does a small youtube channel with 3k subscriber earn, here are the stats for November
$97.5 Ad Revenue
$10.50 CPM (Revenue/1k monetized views)
$3.73 RPM (Revenue/1k views)
Some things that worked for me:
- Long-form content (2-4 hours) means longer watch time
- Midroll ads throughout the long video
- Livestream donations (~$35)

One of the goals for 2020 was to become a Youtube Partner. And here we are.
I started growing consistently after my long format live streams where I build popular apps (Instagram, Twitter, Spotify) clones in react native and AWS. With these series, I was consistent by making 1 live stream per week.
Also, I make the live stream searchable and spend some time doing keyword research with the help of vidIQ. A lot of traffic is coming from search traffic, so it must be working.

It took:
- 1 year and 2 months from the first video uploaded
- 13 videos uploaded
- 23 long format Livestreams
The most growth happened in the last 2 months (almost 800 subs). I saw that live streams are working pretty well for viewers and also for me, as they are easier to produce (not time editing). That's why I doubled down on them and produced 1 live stream per week for the last 3 months.

September started with 288 subscribers and finished with 839. That's a small win that I am proud of.
I just doubled down on the things that worked and brought views for me and dropped the things that didn't. For me, Livestream react-native builds are working very well, and people who watch it are loving it. Instagram clone got 3k views so far, and Spotify is growing pretty well. I live-streamed once a week and promoted it on Reddit and Facebook groups related to react native and javascript.
