Valheim Server Hosting
Set up a Valheim server within minutes
We are all excited for the new Hearth & Home update! Valheim is picking up again. Some things that we will be focusing on for the next 3 weeks include:
- Setting up a blog for SEO purposes
- Building out important infrastructure changes to reduce the amount of customer support tickets that come in every week, which will lighten the overhead on the engineering team
- A Mod Configurator tool which will allow users to customize their Valheim+ mod installation completely through the web, without needing to open up Notepad, download an FTP client, and check if their configuration works. This tool will set us apart from the other dedicated Valheim server providers.
- A sandbox environment for the engineering team to test the app on. This will help contribute towards smoother, and more stable releases with less bugs.
- Curating mods and building automated installation scripts and configuration interfaces for them.
We are patiently waiting for the Hearth & Home update which will release sometime in Q3 2021. Hopefully we will see a huge traffic spike that will bring our numbers up.
Metrics so far:
$1,372 MRR
3 dedicated servers in inventory
10.94% churn rate
87 paid Vikings (subscribers)
Our main goals for Q3 would be to push a lot on marketing in anticipation for the big update, and release a one-of-a-kind mod support implementation that doesn't require FTP. This is something that none of our other competitors have.
Someone bought a Greydwarf Plan on our site! We're about 26% of the way towards paying for our first dedicated server. Hopefully we'll see more signups and conversions to come. We're looking to implement an email journey on Crisp chat to engage trial users who didn't convert.
We built the MVP over the course of a month and launched it ASAP. After being inspired by @wkwan and @Meekro, I kinda wanted to see how server hosting works for myself. I also wanted to learn a new web framework.
Our designer designed a bunch of prototypes, our marketer ran a bunch of ads, and we were off to the races!
