December 3, 2019 Second month 3600+ views, 140% increase

Second month of vanlifeunited.com is complete! There are some significant changes on all the stats.

October stats:
Page Views: 3699, 140% increase
Visitors: 2066, 110% increase
Blog posts: 6 Blog posts
Instagram followers: 355, 8% increase
Facebook followers: 140, 60% increase
Revenue: 32.00$

Again, the most effective way to grow here was with Facebook groups. I had one blog blow up at the beginning of the month which is the source of most my page views. Organic traffic is growing and I've decided to dedicate this month on getting some backlinks.

November 27, 2019 New logo and website design

I've outsourced designers to create a new logo as well as t-shirt designs. This change gives a more legitimate feel to the whole blog.

The website design changes make it look a bit more professional, I've also tweaked the CSS to make it more mobile responsive.

November 1, 2019 Ended the first month with 1500+ page views

This is a relatively small milestone although I'm happy with the results of my first month with Van Life United.

October stats:
Page Views: 1560
Visitors: 985
Blog posts: 7 Blog posts
Instagram followers: 328
Facebook followers: 87
Revenue: 0.00$

The most effective way I found to grow my blog at the moment was to share via french facebook groups in France and in Canada. Unfortunately, Instagram and Facebook are my only traffic sources so I need to work on SEO.

November goals:

  • Write at least 8 blog posts
  • Focus on growing organic traffic

October 5, 2019 Launched VanLifeUnited.com

Launched the initial version of the VanLifeUnited.com website along with the Instagram and Facebook page. The main focus is to create content around the van life movement for the french community. The next step for this website is to create a forum in order to have the french community interact with each other.

About

I decided to start up "Van Life United" when I noticed there wasn't a french community around the subject. The Van Life movement is something I'm passionate about which makes the community building process pleasant.
