This weekend I created an MVP of a web app for easily selling your video courses/content online. There’s no monthly fees, the platform takes a 5% commission on sales. It’s very much in the validation stage, so it’d be great to get some feedback and validation.

How it works

1. Create an account
2. Connect a Stripe account (or easily create one through the dashboard)
3. Add your embed code in the dashboard and set a price
4. Post your video link wherever you want
5. Make money from your video!

It’s kind of like Gumroad I guess but with a focus on self-hosted video & complete payment access. There’s a few differences you might see as a benefit

1. You host the video wherever you want - anything with a sharing/embed code should work. Vimeo is good for “security”, but can get a bit pricey for individuals I guess.
2. If you do use Vimeo, you can potentially use the system to charge for access to livestreams. Great for events business etc, especially at the moment.
3. Payments handled by your own Stripe account - the platform takes a 5% fee.
