Vekt
Run your team. Own your tools.
Most project management tools are built for enterprise teams, priced as subscriptions, and store all your data on someone else's server. For small agencies and studios, that means paying monthly for features you don't need, while losing control of your own work data.
I built Vekt to solve that. It's a desktop app for small agencies - projects, tasks, time tracking, client deliverable records, billing, and team management, all in one place. One-time purchase. Local-first — your data stays on your machine. Works offline.
Currently deep in an update sprint: cleaning up UI inconsistencies, fixing navigation bugs, polishing the reports tab, and tightening up the output records workflow. Building in the open and shipping regularly.
If you're running a small creative studio or agency and tired of paying per-seat every month for tools that don't quite fit- Vekt might be worth a look.

Happy to answer any questions!
Hey IH!
It’s been 4 days since I first shared Vekt with you all. I’ve been busy polishing the UI while keeping the app strictly local-first.
A few people asked to see the actual workflow, so I finally sat down and recorded a 90-second demo. (Ironically, I spent more time fighting with my screen recorder than actually recording!)
In this video, I walk through:
The Unified Workspace: Managing tasks, time tracking, and client approvals without leaving the app.
AI Task Generation: How I’m using AI to break down projects in seconds.
The Local-First Privacy: Showing how your data stays on your machine, not in the cloud.
Watch the full demo on YouTube here
I’m still refining the client approval flow- does this look like something that would save your agency time, or is it missing a specific feature you need?
Would love to hear your thoughts!

Hey IH! I'm Erixon, a solo dev from the Philippines.
I built Vekt out of pure frustration. Managing a remote work meant bouncing between Excel for timesheets, Trello for tasks, Google Docs for notes, and something else for payroll cutoffs. Every tool had a free tier that hit a wall, and subscriptions added up fast for a small agency.
So I built Vekt — a local-first desktop app that combines task management, time tracking, client approvals, and AI task generation in one place. No subscriptions. One-time purchase. Your data stays on your machine.
It's built on Electron with optional Supabase sync for teams. Currently Windows only.
Would love feedback from anyone who's dealt with the same tool-juggling problem. Happy to answer questions!

Running a remote team while juggling tasks, payroll cutoffs, and notes across Excel and multiple freemium tools was exhausting. I kept switching apps and hitting paywalls. So I built Vekt — a single desktop app for task
