Applied to Tiny Seed

Tiny Seed opened on 1st November but we planned to apply later on as we wanted to do a Product Hunt launch to hopefully boost our revenue numbers so we looked more attractive to them.

That didn't work out so well and I will be making a post on the PH numbers such as visitors, demos and paid customers later on as demo to paid takes a little while.

Their mentorship and network is the key reason for us applying. The money is a bonus :)

Tiny Seed focus on SaaS companies and as a SaaS focused website builder we should get a lot of valuable feedback from the mentors and peers.

We are early stage and the last batch had companies with a few employees in. So odds are low but will be interesting to see how it goes.

Should have mentioned in the post TinySeed - The first startup accelerator designed for bootstrappers https://tinyseed.com/

@tracymakes posted here a while ago about it https://www.indiehackers.com/post/tinyseeds-2020-applications-are-open-872fddb6cf

TinySeed is awesome. At the last MicroConf in Europe, I had the opportunity to talk to most of the founders in their first batch. If you make it into the second batch, you will be in great company. And even if not, the introspection of filling out the application is worth it in itself.

Nice I listen to @robwalling on Startups for the rest of us and a podcast called out of beta with two founders in the first batch and they seem to be enjoying it a lot.

      Application was interesting.

I found doing the YC application more insightful but Tiny Seed was good as well.

It would be great to do it every quarter :)

I applied first batch, this batch, and will apply every batch until accepted. :D

      Thanks!

Yeah the deal is nearly always worth it unless you're a successful founder with a huge network.

      What did you apply with?

Good luck! I also applied. I feel like there should be a lot more of these types of options for Bootstrappers.
