Vetted

One thing that excites me about Vetted is that it doesn't scale.

Huh? Wait, why is that exciting?

Well, because a non-scalable business model is something only a small, scrappy company can offer. The big companies with which I'm competing (looking at you, Hired!) simply can't offer the "white-glove" treatment I can and, therefore, gives me a pretty big advantage in the quality department.

My plan is to focus on quality over quantity for as long as possible with Vetted. Assuming it gets to the point where scale is an issue (and let's be honest, this will be a very good problem to have!) then I can start implementing other service tiers that are less hands-on.

Vetted is a fresh take on the software engineering job application process.

While there are many reverse job boards out there, Vetted uses its small size to an advantage and focuses on quality over quantity. This means all applicants to vetted will receive a fair, personalize review process and will be assessed holistically.

I'm a software engineer and I'll be personally reviewing all applicants to Vetted. Once an applicant passes the review process, they will be able to create a profile on the platform. I'll make sure the profile looks good (and that applicants are putting their best foot forward) before it's available to be viewed by companies. Companies will be able to see all Vetted profiles and can rest assured that applicants have been carefully vetted.

I'm in the very early stages of Vetted. This means currently I have a landing page at https://vetted.camp (feedback very much appreciated!) while I build out the product and understand the right feature set to launch with.

I'll be posting many more updates to Indie Hackers as I figure this thing out and I'm extremely excited to be here for the journey!
