From Weeks to Minutes, Automate Any Business Process

April 14, 2026 I've spent years working in BPM software. Here's why I'm building something new anyway.

Hey IH — first post here. I'm Nikhil, one of the co-founders of Vevos AI. I've spent years working in the BPM (Business Process Management) software industry. That experience is exactly what pushed me to build something different.

Working inside the industry gives you a front-row seat to what the incumbents get wrong. For us, that's been the most valuable unfair advantage we have.

What I've seen from the inside

BPM tools have been around for decades. BPMN 2.0 is a powerful, mature standard. But the software built around it was designed for a world where you hire dedicated process architects, run months of workshops, and bring in consultants to make sense of the output.

That model works for the Fortune 500. It locks out everyone else. And even inside large enterprises, most teams don't actually use these tools — they're too slow, too complex, and require too much specialist knowledge to justify for everyday process work.

The result: most businesses run on undocumented processes. Stuff lives in people's heads, in PDFs nobody reads, in onboarding calls that repeat the same tribal knowledge every few months.

What we're building

Vevos AI converts plain-English process descriptions into BPMN 2.0 diagrams, SOP documentation, and live workflow automations — via a multi-agent system we call Conductor Agents. You describe your process the way you'd explain it to a colleague. Vevos handles the rest.

We're a team of three: Andreas, Kirill, and me. The product is live. We have a free tier at vevos.ai/free if you want to try it.

No big launch numbers to share yet. I'm here because IH is the right place to build in public honestly — and because I think the BPM space is genuinely underserved by the indie/SaaS community. Most people building workflow tools are going after HR or project management. Very few are touching core business process infrastructure.

What I'd love from this community

If you've ever tried to document a business process — and given up — I'd genuinely love to hear what broke down. That's the problem we're solving, and real stories from people outside the enterprise BPM bubble are gold for us right now.

Happy to answer questions about the BPM space, building in a niche, or the experience of working a day job while building something new.

About

Vevos AI exists because every business runs on processes, but almost none of them are documented, automated, or understandable — and that's a problem we can now solve in minutes, not months.
