I completed my first 50 days of blogging, which I summed up in this post. I'd published 6 posts, gotten 70k+ pageviews, and received 600+ subscribers to my newsletter at this point. At this milestone, I set some (ambitious) goals for my first year of blogging to keep myself motivated.

I finally went live with my first blog post, Building a Better Profanity Detection Library with scikit-learn. I'd been thinking about building / starting a tech blog for a while, and it was exhilarating to finally do it.
