VideoWorkLink (VWL)
Connect with remote teammates via live video with privacy.
Now everything is perfect :-)
Just kidding! But anyway, the product's Ui/UX is significantly improved. The general confidence in the quality of the product is high. The message on the website is simple and clear. It was a grind to make everything better and cleaner, but the result is satisfying.
VWL has a slightly new message now:
Use VideoWorkLink (VWL) to coordinate work on the fly via live video while keeping your privacy.
VWL connects remote team members via live video, providing an individual sense of privacy.

Companies like Quora, IBM, and many others rejected remote work because it makes team coordination slower and more difficult. This, in turn, leads to a slower pace of work and lesser team cohesion.
For highly competitive companies speed and quality of coordination are a top priority. How can they stay well-coordinated while working remotely?
They can communicate via live video with a sense of privacy.
VideoWorkLink (VWL) connects remote teammates via live video with a sense of privacy. It allows them to communicate naturally and makes it comfortable for them to remain connected via live video.
You can quickly coordinate issues, have fun and socialize. Customizable privacy makes it comfortable to remain connected via live video.
Being connected via live video allows remote workers to compete with office teams in terms of communication speed.
Can VWL help your team? Please answer in the comments.

A common problem among remote workers is that often they feel lonely. This is the reason why coworking is popular among them.
Actually, you don't have to work physically around people you don't know to get rid of loneliness. Instead, you can be connected with your remote teammates via live video through VideoWorkLink (VWL).
VWL allows you to get rid of loneliness by connecting you with remote teammates via live video.
Unlike others, VWL provides an individual sense of privacy that allows your team to remain connected via live video and be able to have fun, socialize, and coordinate work.
Check out a new landing page that I've written to explain how VWL can help remote workers to get rid of loneliness.

I think you undervalue how much physical in person social interaction means for people. In my experience nothing comes close to in person meetings, formal or non-formal.
My social well being and my productivity energy has gone up significantly since I started hire a coworking desk.

Elitan, thanks for your reply! Well, I just don't overvalue it ;-)
Look, coworking is great no doubts about that but you socialize with people you don't know and pretty much don't care about. First people you have to socialize with are your teammates. And that's when VideoWorkLink comes into play. It allows you to do just that no matter where you are - either at your house or inside a coworking space.-

Yes I got it. I think that a service like VideoWorkLink is more of a complement than a substitute to in-person meetings.
We use Google Meet and appear.in a lot at work.
Also you can build meaningful relationships with people in co-working spaces, even if the people is not working in the same company as you.

Absolutely!
Johan, why do you use Appear.in and Google Meet so frequently? Because of a need for casual communication? No other way to do that than frequent video calling?
Would you use a tool like VideoWorkLink for casual communication? Not as a replacement but as complementary to "heavy" meetings trough Appear.in and Google Meet?

Only 16% of companies providing remote work are fully remote companies (according to the Global State of Remote Work 2018).
Why there are so few of them?
I'd like to share my answer to this question and invite you to discuss this interesting topic!

Hey, guys, do you use time tracking when working with freelancers?
I personally wouldn't have liked if it was used on me...
I'd prefer if I were treated like a teammate.

Although this article was published a month ago, it is worth mentioning here because it tells important things about why real-time communication needs to be used by default when working remotely.
Do you need real-time communication during remote work?

After publishing the article with the same name right here: http://videoworklink.com/2019/03/is-startup-with-remote-founders-possible/
I've decided to ask the Hacker News community: "Will you startup with a remote co-founder you've never met in real life?"
And that appeared to be a very polarizing topic!
Take a look what people have to say about that right here: https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=19551665
And what about you?
Will you start a startup with a remote co-founder without prior meeting him in person?
