I got tired of watching people do manually what machines should do in seconds — so I built Vidiai

I’ve been a developer for years. I’ve worked with agencies, startups, solo founders — and almost every single one of them had the same painful workflow.

They needed video or image content at scale. Personalised ads, product visuals, social content, data-driven reports. And every single time, someone was sitting there manually editing templates, exporting files, renaming things, uploading them one by one.

It drove me mad.

The tools existed — Shotstack, Creatomate, Bannerbear — but the pricing was built for enterprises. If you didn’t need thousands of renders a month, you were still paying for thousands of renders a month. And the integrations were clunky. The APIs were overwhelming. The learning curve was steep for non-developers.

So I decided to build what I actually wanted to use.

Vidiai is a credit-based video and image automation platform. You build a template once. You feed it data. The API renders it at scale — dynamic text, images, branding, all swapped in automatically. You only pay for what you render.

No bloated subscriptions. No idle monthly fees. Just fast, reliable rendering on demand.

I’m building this in public. Right now it’s early — but the architecture is solid, the API is being built, and the roadmap is clear.
