Vidrip
Show them your LOL face
Big personal milestone: Vidrip is officially live.
My co-founder and I set out to answer a simple question - when you send someone a video, why can't you see how they actually reacted?
So we built an app that does exactly that. You share a video, and your friends reply with their real, recorded reactions as they watch. No captions, no typed replies - just authentic, face-to-face moments, asynchronously.
As far as we can tell, nobody's doing this. Which is equal parts exciting and terrifying.
We're live on the App Store now and still in active development - so if you try it, your feedback genuinely shapes what we build next.
About
Vidrip is the first app where the reply to a video is your friend's actual face, recorded as they react. Privately share clips with the friends who get it, react together, and follow reaction threads like a conversation.

The idea of reacting with a video instead of text is memorable.
What I'll be watching is which moments naturally make people reach for Vidrip instead of sending a message. Those moments tend to define a product more than its feature list.
