120 exercises to teach you Vim for VSCode
Today, I passed the 300 courses sold mark! This is incredible.
I haven't done any new marketing besides chatting on a few podcasts. I'm actively working on a new landing page and hope to launch very soon. Once I do that, I hope to write blog posts and generate some organic traffic.
The next big goal is $10,000 in revenue.
Yesterday, I passed the 200 courses sold mark! I had no idea this would happen. I now need to focus on promotion. The curve is angled down towards the bottom so I need to figure out how to prevent it from going flat.
A few things I'm planning on doing to avoid that:
- going on a few podcasts to talk about product
- writing up a post about launching the product
- optimizing the landing page
Once I do all that, I plan to do more traditional marketing efforts like writing content and making videos around the course topic.

Sometime last night, I passed 100 courses sold! This is way more than I expected. I told myself:
- 10 products would be great
- 100 would be awesome
-
100 would make me say, "Okay, this was a success!"
I've passed the 100 mark and it's been a little over 24 hours. I am beyond ecstatic.

Lessons learned:
- anyone can be an indie hacker
- anyone can launch a product
- the hardest part is starting

I organized a group of about 10 friends to join me in doing a two-week info product challenge. The goal was to build an info product and sell it for $10.
Lessons learned:
- keep your scope small
- work on it every day
- have a support group
- don't be afraid to fail
