Virasat
Your digital legacy, secured forever
A few years ago, a close relative passed away. What followed was months of absolute chaos for the family — searching for bank passwords, hunting for property papers, trying to recover crypto wallets, locating bank lockers, and dealing with missing documents. The grief was already heavy, but the administrative nightmare made it 10x worse.
I realized this is an extremely common problem in India. Most people die without any organized digital or physical asset records. Traditional wills help with legal aspects but don’t solve the practical problem of securely storing and handing over passwords, crypto seeds, gold details, insurance policies, and final messages.
So I built Virasat.
What is Virasat?
A secure digital legacy vault where you can store:
Bank accounts, FDs, demat
Crypto wallets & seed phrases
Gold/jewellery details + photos
Property papers & locker locations
Passwords & 2FA codes
Personal letters & video messages for your family
Everything is client-side encrypted (AES-256 + Shamir Secret Sharing). Even I cannot access your data. After death verification + 30-day waiting period, it automatically delivers everything to your chosen beneficiaries.

About
I built Virasat because I’ve seen too many families in India suffer unnecessarily after losing a loved one. When someone dies, their family doesn’t just deal with grief — they also face months or even years of confusion,

I'd be careful treating this as a digital-vault problem too quickly.
The interesting question may not be whether families need a better place to store information.
It may be what decision they're actually making when they trust something this sensitive to a third party.
Those sound similar, but they can lead to very different conclusions about the buyer, the positioning, and what validation deserves confidence.
I wouldn't make that call casually from the current signals.
