August 23, 2026 Hello World! Building an interactive English academy from A1 to B2 🌍

Hey Indie Hackers! 👋

I’m excited to introduce my project, Virtuous English Academy. I've been working hard on building an interactive ecosystem designed to make language learning feel less like studying and more like a natural daily habit.

Instead of just passive grammar drills, I’m focusing on active acquisition. Here is what I am currently building into the platform for A1 to B2 learners:

  • Interactive Graded Readers: Stories tailored to specific CEFR levels with smart translation pop-ups.

  • Automated Flashcards: To help retain new vocabulary seamlessly.

  • Gamification: I've integrated a level-adjusted, Wordle-style word guessing game tied to a user leaderboard to keep motivation high.

Right now, I'm fine-tuning the infrastructure and setting up transactional workflows as I prepare for an upcoming Product Hunt launch.

I’d love to connect with other ed-tech makers or anyone building gamified apps. What was your biggest challenge when acquiring your first 100 users?

Any feedback or advice for a solo maker is highly appreciated!
