VL.Focus

AI focus groups, Test your Idea before building it

Visit Website
May 13, 2026 A few weeks ago I met the founder of a small initiative that teaches game development to kids from low-income families.

These teenagers are already building their first games, but they have almost zero ways to test whether their ideas actually resonate with real players.

At the same time, inside VeritasLinks we had already built AI Focus Groups — simulated focus groups with realistic buyer personas that surface objections, emotional triggers, and what feels off about an idea. It felt like the perfect fit for these kids.

So I gave the students free access. To make it as simple as possible for them (without forcing them to use the full platform), I quickly spun up focus.veritaslinks.com — a clean, standalone public interface just for running AI Focus Group analyses.

It turned out genuinely good. The experience felt delightful, and the quality of insights was strong even for raw, early-stage ideas. That’s when I decided: this shouldn’t stay limited to a small group of students.

VL.Focus exists because high-quality idea validation shouldn’t require a budget, an agency, or weeks of waiting. Whether you’re a 16-year-old building their first game, a solo founder testing a landing page, or someone who just wants fast, structured feedback on a concept — you should be able to get it in minutes.

I opened it publicly because the tool deserved to exist for more people than just the original group it was made for.

I met a founder teaching game development to kids from low-income families and wanted to give them a real tool to test their ideas with AI Focus Groups. It worked so well that I opened the clean public interface
