Vocabulaid
Personalized English vocabulary lessons
I think it is time to look at the bigger picture and define some things like:
- Target market
- Targeted pain points
I need to better define what problem my product solves.
Someone recently subscribed to the waiting list on Vocabulaid. I think I should do more marketing and I might start working on an MVP soon.

I made a content marketing post on a custom publication on Medium called "Why Americans Shouldn't Learn Foreign Languages". This will be just one of many interwoven posts on the reasons for learning languages on Medium to promote me and Vocabulaid.

I have a medium channel and see almost zero traffic from there. Does anyone know why?

I have the same problem. Given, I've only had my Medium blog for my product up for a couple of days now.
If you know people irl that are in your target audience, tell them about it.
Direct people from other sources of traffic such as email lists, products, etc. to your Medium blog.

I don't expect to capture any emails soon, but I am having a couple conversations on IH about features and the general idea for Vocabulaid.
I put a graphic on the landing page that hopefully gives the user a better idea of what Vocabulaid is.

I've looked into some growth hacking strategies to get my first few waiting list subscribers, but honestly, the whole thing seems like BS. I am always very skeptical of what I click on when browsing the web; and I never click on something that looks like a promotion or ad. I only look at stuff that looks organic.
Next, I'll try to improve the landing page by adding some graphics to give a better idea of what it will be like to use Vocabulaid. Then, I might do some cold emailing to applicable blogs and small publications in the niche. Marketing is difficult.

I just launched the Vocabulaid landing page with a waiting list signup form. There is in fact another badly written service with the name Vocabulaid that looks deprecated, but I am holding out that I can beat it in the search results.

Vocabulaid was the result of considering a few related ideas. I began with an idea for a tool to practice vocabulary, but it morphed into more of a pronunciation practice tool.
