Voice Coder
You speak human English, the app translate to Dev English.
Hey Indie Hackers,
We all love building with AI (Cursor, Lovable, Bolt), but I noticed a huge friction point: The "Context Loop".
You spend half your time typing boilerplate context ("I'm using Next.js with Tailwind...") or trying to guess the technical jargon so the AI doesn't break your code.
If you are a "Visionary Builder" (non-engineer founder), this is where you get stuck.
So I built VoiceCoder to bridge this gap.
It’s a native Mac/Windows overlay app. You hit Cmd+Shift+; and speak in plain English.
What it does:
Translates Intent: It turns "Make the button blue" into a highly technical, context-aware prompt tailored for your specific stack.
Syncs Context: It "learns" your project structure so you don't have to repeat yourself.
Pastes Directly: It inputs the perfect prompt directly into your active AI tool (Cursor, Lovable, etc).
It's basically like having a Senior Engineer translating your thoughts before they hit the LLM.
I’m looking for feedback from people who are currently building with AI tools. Does this solve your friction?
About
Founders hit a wall with AI tools: they know what to build but lack the tech vocabulary to guide the LLM. VoiceCoder exists to translate your natural language into the perfect technical prompts for vibe coding tools.
