About
I always forget the key points after having a conversation with an insightful person. So, I made VoiceTaking which combines voice notes and note-taking in Notion-like pages.

Nice work! Related project: I built Cider Press (on GitHub) specifically for people who use Apple Voice Memos as an audio journal. Instead of being another recording app, it migrates your existing memos out of Apple's locked ecosystem, batch-transcribes with Whisper (local, Metal GPU), and integrates with NotebookLM so you can query your journal with an LLM. The privacy angle is key — all transcription happens on-device, and your data never leaves your Mac. Free, open source, Rust/Tauri backend.
