Find who you already know at companies hiring right now
I built Vouch because most job searching today is cold applications into an ATS black hole, and almost nobody actually checks who they already know at the companies they're applying to. A referral gets a human to actually read your application. A cold application gets filtered by software before a person ever sees it.
How it works: you export your LinkedIn connections (LinkedIn gives you a CSV of this), upload it, and Vouch matches it against companies actively hiring right now on Greenhouse, Lever, and Ashby. You see exactly who you know at each company and how strong the connection is, then it drafts the outreach message for you.
A few things from building it solo:
Pricing was the hardest decision. I went with $39 one time instead of a subscription, since the whole point is you stop needing it once you're hired, a recurring charge felt wrong for that.
The messy technical part was matching company names. LinkedIn's export has "Google", "Google LLC", "Google Inc." all as different strings for connections at the same company, so a decent chunk of the work was building matching that actually holds up against real, inconsistent data.
