Voxia Transcribe Audio

Turn audio recordings into structured transcripts with chapt

I built a transcription app because every alternative gave me an unreadable wall of text
I'm an indie dev, and I record a lot - client calls, brainstorming sessions, interviews. At some point I tried every transcription app out there hoping to stop wasting time on manual notes.
They all had the same problem. You record 45 minutes of audio, hit transcribe, and get back 12 pages of raw text. No structure, no sections, no way to find anything without re-listening to the whole thing. It technically worked but the output was unusable - just a text dump nobody wants to read.
I kept thinking somebody would fix this. Nobody did. So I built Voxia.
The idea is simple: instead of raw text, the app auto-generates chapters, an outline, and an AI summary from your recording. It also labels speakers so you can see who said what. The transcript actually has structure - you can skim the outline, jump to the part you need, and move on.
Where it is now:

iOS (iPhone & iPad)
Speaker identification
Auto chapters, outline, AI summary
100+ languages
Export to Word, PDF, Markdown
2 hours free to try, no account needed

I'm a solo developer so the feedback loop is short - if something is broken or missing I want to know. Would love to hear what you think, especially if you deal with long recordings regularly.

I got tired of every transcription app giving me an unreadable wall of text, so I built one that auto-structures transcripts into chapters with summaries.
