Launch of VSpace 2.0!
Two months ago we launched our MVP.
We got tons of feedback, fixed even more bugs, tested some features, rewrote API, and created our own parser.
What's new:
- Comments
- Link preview
- Google Docs/Sheets integration
- Slack integration (soon)
We would be happy to see new users and feedback and it doesnβt matter β here or on Twitter/Facebook.
Create and share spaces with something actually important and interesting. π

We have been actively working for the past two weeks, received a lot of feedback (thx Betalist), rewrote our API, fixed bugs, and implemented cool features:
- Link preview
- New link context menu
We also improved the tag creation, increased the loading speed of VSpace.
Now we are working on further optimization and new features:
- Comments on links
- Google Drive Integration
- Slack integration
- Email notifications
The v 2.0 will be released very soon. π
One week passed since release so here are some results:
- First 100 users;
- More than 10 feature requests;
- Lots of feedback;
- Experience from release on Product Hunt (Could be better π);
- Even more work to do!
One of the most interesting feedback:
"Looks awesome. Would be cool to tie it into cloud storage, so you can paste in an image or text - which is uploaded to the configured cloud (gdrive?) and the link & thumbnail generated automatically.
This is close to a project I've been thinking about. What do you think about a feature where the app analyzes the tabs I have active, and automatically bring up links I might need based on the context. Or if I type something into a search bar, bring up relevant links in my Vspace. You could expand this into a machine learning type of feature with predictive resources. Someone searching for "python projects" might want find the reference documentation link useful. I picture it as a sidebar or second monitor, where it's constantly surfacing links (my own as well as suggestive) according to my working context.
That's something that I would use as a new tab page, so that the links on the new tab are contextually relevant to the last ~4 tabs I looked at. That's a major derailing point for me, I'm working, then open a new tab and see oh, reddit, YouTube, hello my friends. It forces me to consider a context switch. I want my browser/OS to help me with my current context, not suggest off-ramps."

I really like vspace because many years ago I built a desktop-like app (just for me) once I saw that Windows 7 deprecated free floating icons in Explorer. Also inspired by Windows 8 Metro, but with smaller tiles. It allows me to paste shortcuts to sites, files, scripts and apps (maybe a feature you could add to a desktop version) in multiple "spaces".
I'll be looking forward to seeing vspace succeed!
Check, comment, and give us feedback!
It's time to improve workflow. π

- Stop searching for your documents and tools in chats or notes
- Organize knowledge base
- Gather a customer base
- Tell about yourself and your works to the whole world
- Take beautiful addresses for your spaces π
In the near future, you'll be able:
- Use a link preview and tools to work with them
- Comment and discuss your links
- Quickly create documents and tasks in your favorite tools directly from VSpace

Since VSpace was in beta in 2017, our team has been working to bring the program to perfection.
I don't know if we're lucky or not that everyone on our team is a damn perfectionists, but we really want to do something high - quality and cool. We do not want to reduce the time frame for some reason and sacrifice the quality of the product.
This is why the release has been delayed several times.

Congrats folks!
Btw, I went and checked your team. If you think a person skilled in increasing conversions with costumer-focused positioning, messaging, design and funnel strategy would be a great addition to your team, I'd love to join you.
I am in uni currently, freelancing part-time and would love to spend my time working on meaningful projects.

Happy to be the part of it π₯°
We think the whole world is online now. Every day we visit websites and share links with colleagues and friends. And we just want to simplify this point.
Vspace allows you to distribute links into groups, so you can share groups of links with multiple people and use them together.

We're solving the problem when you just lose your important links somewhere in Narnia. We want to create space where you can share, save and use your links succesfully.
