VulnScan

May 30, 2026 I built a B2B cybersecurity SaaS — here's what I learned

I noticed that most small businesses have zero visibility into what vulnerabilities their website is exposing. They don't have security teams, they can't afford audits, and they just assume they're safe.

So I built VulnScan — an automated vulnerability scanner for SMBs. The user verifies they own their website, chooses between 3 types of scans, and gets a professional PDF report with everything found.

What's included: — 3 scan types (passive OSINT, active port scanning, full OWASP audit) — Professional PDF reports generated automatically — Scan history and risk level tracking — Automated recurring scans via GitHub Actions scheduler — API key generation for Pro and Enterprise users — Verified asset management dashboard — 3 Stripe subscription plans (Free / €65 / €219/month)

Tech stack: Python + Supabase + Stripe. Zero running costs.

The hardest part wasn't the technical side — it was realizing that building the product is only 10% of the work. The other 90% is getting it in front of the right people.

Looking for feedback and first users. Happy to give free scans to anyone who wants to try it.
